Clearwater Pediatric Care is proud to announce that our office has been awarded recognition by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) as a level 3 Patient-Centered Medical Home. Dear Parents,

We understand the anxiety you may have regarding the Coronavirus outbreak and wanting to do everything possible to keep your children and family members healthy. We are doing everything possible toward that goal. As per CDC guidelines to limit interactions and practice social distancing, we have implemented the following changes in our practice and request cooperation from our families.

Effective Wednesday, March 18th, all essential well-visit appointments will be during the morning session from 8 AM to 11 AM. Sick visits will be booked in the afternoon from 1.30-5 PM.

When you arrive at the office, we request you call the main office number to let us know you have arrived but remain in your vehicle. When your child is ready to be seen, we will call you, and your child will be taken directly to the exam room without having to wait in common areas.

We request that only one parent accompanies the child. Please do not bring other children to the appointment. If the parent has any respiratory illness, we ask the other parent or a family friend to bring the child. If it is not an option and it’s a routine visit, please reschedule for a later date.

If your child is above one year and coming for a sick visit and has fever, cough, and other respiratory symptoms, please make sure they wear a mask before entering the office. We have a limited number of masks available if your child is sick and you don’t have one.

Please wash your hands on arrival and before leaving the office.

Fortunately, Coronavirus infection is milder in children and less likely to cause serious illness. However, young children can transmit it to other family members who are older and hence at higher risk.

Let us all do our part to limit the increase in cases in the community that can overwhelm our medical system.

Thank you for your cooperation
