COVID-19 UPDATE

Dear Parents,

We understand the anxiety you may have regarding the Coronavirus outbreak and your goal to keep your children and family members healthy. We are doing everything possible toward that goal. As per CDC guidelines to limit interactions and practice social distancing, we have implemented the following changes in our practice to keep your family safe.

If we believe your child has an issue that can be evaluated and treated without compromising quality and safety, we will offer a telehealth appointment that does not require your physical presence at the office. However, some conditions may require a face-to-face visit. If so, we may be able to examine the child in your vehicle and treat them accordingly. Certain types of visits, like well-child visits that include immunizations, are usually done within the office. If you have any special needs, please let our receptionist know, and we will try to accommodate any reasonable requests.

After check-in, when you come to the office, you have the option of staying in your car.  When your child is ready to be seen, we will call you, and your child will be taken directly to the exam room without having to wait in common areas.

We have placed the reception area chairs adhering to the social distancing guidelines. We have instituted strict policies to clean and disinfect all exam tables, chairs, doorknobs after each visit. Hand sanitizers are available throughout the office for your convenience. All employees and providers will be wearing masks. Please do not get offended by this as it helps protect all our employees and patients as well. All adults and children above the age of two years are required to wear masks while inside the building.

We request that only one parent accompanies the child. If there are special needs and both parents must be at the visit, please let us know, and we will try our best to accommodate reasonable requests.  Please do not bring other children to the appointment. If the parent has any respiratory illness, we ask that another family member accompany the child. If this is not an option, and the appointment is for a routine visit, please reschedule for a later date. If any family member has been diagnosed with COVID or is sick and waiting for the COVID test results, all family members must also be in quarantine. Please reschedule your child's visit when the quarantine period is over.

Let us all do our part so we can put the pandemic behind us. Stay safe and stay healthy!

Thank you for your cooperation
